LOVE THIS!

Sep. 23, 2009
This first picture was when Gent was training for his mini triathlon. He would go the night before and mark with water bottles how far he had to swim for his workout the next morning. I couldn't resist getting this picture. Isn't it adorable!
And this is my COOL DUDE! He is so funny lately. He knows now when we laugh at something he does and always tries to put on a show for us. It's the best.

Me and my buddy!

March 2010

I love this man so much!

What Trey says in less than a minute...

This was in July of 2010. Not sure why it is out of order.

Treygen talks my ear off all day long. He doesn't stop. I am always listening to him but sometimes don't really think about what he says... I sat down on my couch just now with my computer and started to really listen to him and this is what he said...

"I dotta mow the yawn(lawn) yike(like) my daddy mows the yawn." ...as he is looking out the window...

"Bye, I'm going to work, mommy, you be dood (good)" ...still looking out the window for his daddy to come home and eating a sucker.

"Don't eat it, K? Just take a bight and give it to me, K? Tanks!(thanks)"...trying to share his sucker with me.

"Don't eat it. It be all don(gone)." ...I was just holding his sucker for him.

"I need to poop." ...but not running to the toilet

"Don't ever cry!" ... Kenzie woke up from her nap and he is screaming across the room to her

"Her's awake mommy. Baby sister's awake. Now I can scare you. RAAAR! Rar!" ...because I told him to be quiet while she was sleeping.

"I need go get my dinosaur, I need scare you." ...because he was scaring me like a dinosaur and wanted to put on his costume.

''I need to go to daddy's work. I need to show my sucker to daddy! Sucker." ...he obviously really likes this sucker.

"I'm done with my sucker! You ate my sucker all don. (even though I didn't have any)" ...as he throws the stick in my lap and walks away.

"I'm too yittle to reach in there. You big and STRONG!" ...because when he came back to me, he grabbed his sucker stick and threw it behind the couch so I told him to get it and throw it in the garbage.

This kid is so funny and so stinkin smart. This was probably just 30 seconds to a minute of his thoughts and he is still going. Talking like crazy... I definitely need to work on taking in everything he says because most of the time it's something hilarious.

DISNEYLAND!

I had to take another day to finish the rest of our California vacation because there were so many pictures and I was having a hard time uploading them. It takes sooo long!
This is on the airplane. Treygen loved watching out the windows and Kenzie was really good. Too bad I didn't get a picture of us trying to get through the airport. We had 2 big suitcases, 1 small suitcase, 1 carry on, a stroller and 2 car seats. It was crazy. One guy actually called Gentry a pack mule because he had a carseat on his back like a back pack and was pulling the other suitcases as well. Thank goodness for wheels on those things.
At Disneyland. The whole place was decked out in Christmas decorations. Gentry and Kenzie are at the bottom of this huge tree.

There is still a little boy inside this big man!
Riding Dumbo.
 In jail at Toon Town.
Waiting for the roller coaster ride in Toon Town.

Kenzie was too little so we took turns riding with Treygen. We got the front car. Treygen really liked it.

The Nemo submarine ride was one of Treygen's favorites. We went on it a few times.
 The Little Mermaid Ride.

 The Toy Story soldiers.
The ferris wheel in California Adventure. I had no idea the swinging gondolas would swing so much!

Woody!!! One of Treygen's favorite characters.
Disney Juniors live on stage was really neat. Treygen loved this one too!
A Bugs Life is one of my favorites. Treygen didn't like it at all.
This was the Toy Story ride. It had a 45 minute wait but was worth it. We wore 3D glasses and shot at all the big targets.

It's a Small World had the biggest line ever so we didn't even try it. All the lights on it were really cool though.
The last day it rained all day! This is how the kids would watch out the window at the home-tel room(as Treygen called it.) He was so funny. He didn't want to leave the home-tel. He loved it there and when we told him we needed to get home for the animals he said that the animals could just die and we could stay there forever. He's such a nut.
Downtown Disney. We went to the Rainforest Cafe, to see Arthur Christmas and, of course, to ESPN Zone!

This is my BBQ chicken pizza. Does there seriously need to be this much cilantro on one entree?
This was the result from my pizza. Haha. The only reason I posted these pictures is because I love the face Treygen is making behind us.
The arcade games at ESPN Zone. They had this mini bowling that the kids liked.

When we got back to the home-tel Kenzie didn't want to come back in the room. She sat down in the hall and cried when I told her to come in the room.
Dad plays with them every night before bed so she was soon my happy girl again. Don't mind that she's not fully dressed.

And that's the end of my Disneyland vacation. I wish we were still there! :( I can't believe how expensive everything is there. I cut corners and got deals like crazy everywhere we went and still spent a ton of money!!.. So if anyone is planning to go I can tell you all the tricks of getting the best deals!...if you take me with you! :)

Our California vacation!!!

This month we went to California for our 7th anniversary/Christmas for the kids! We had so much fun. (I think I had more fun than anyone!) Posting these pictures makes me want to go back. This is at Knotts Berry Farm. It was so empty there. We were able to walk right on to almost any ride and be the only people on most of the rides. I couldn't believe how slow it was because Disneyland was packed!
Log ride..
Train ride...  Kenzie has become such a cheese. She loves to smile and make funny faces for the camera.
My boy still won't let us cut his hair! I tried before we left but it didn't happen because I had so much to do. He is constantly twirling it like this. Em says it's so long he will soon be able to donate it.. Haha

Treygen loved this ride. We went on it 3 times in a row!

Dad and Trey on the ferris wheel. Gentry could only do certain rides because he can't handle the twisting and stuff. It makes him sick. :( He had to take a dramaine one day and slept almost the whole next day so we let him stay off the spinny rides.

You have to do these little mine carts yourself. Treygen was so fast. Kenzie had to get some help.

Treygen with Snoopy. At Disneyland there are lines for you to wait in to see the characters. At Knotts Snoopy had no line and looked bored.
It was like we were back home in the parking lot at Knotts. There were roosters and chickens running around!
Balboa Beach! This was Gentry's favorite. I think the kids had a great time too. Too bad it was a little chilly. We probably would have spent the whole day here.

Kenzie was sad because Dad and Trey went to the water and left her by me.

We were attacked by seagulls when we ate lunch. I was throwing food up in the air and they would catch it with their mouths. It was pretty entertaining. One seagull tried to take off with Gent's bag of doritos so I had to chase it and get them back.

Gentry made Treygen into a muscle man.
